Nominate an exemplary teacher for the National Science Foundation's Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. The award is given to outstanding mathematics and science teachers from each of the 50 states and four U.S. jurisdictions.
Maximum Award: $10,000
2008 Eligibility: K-6 full-time teachers in public or private schools who are deemed highly qualified (7-12 teachers will be considered in 2009).
Deadline: nominations: Feb. 1, 2008; applications: May 1, 2008
